We took a quick look at how enlyten’s new TrimWorks meal replacement shakes compare to other popular “shakes” available on the market today. It became clear very quickly why enlyten outshines and outperforms its competition just by reading the nutrition label and ingredient list. Below are the first 5 ingredients in enlyten, as well as other supposed “meal replacement shakes.” Keep in mind the first 5 ingredients usually make up 75%-85% of the product.
Enlyten TrimWorks: whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, calcium caseinate, spray dried sunflower oil (a rock-solid list of pure, healthy ingredients)
Slim Fast: sugar, high oleic sunflower oil, maltodextrin (sugar), gum Arabic (thickener), milk (so…basically sugar, sugar, and more sugar)
Ensure: corn syrup (sugar), maltodextrin (sugar), sugar, corn oil, sodium (I think this speaks for itself…yuck!)
Atkins: calcium caseinate, high oleic sunflower oil, soy protein isolate, milk protein isolate, natural & artificial flavors
Isagenix: whey protein concentrate, calcium caseinate, non-fat dry milk, fructose (sugar), artificial vanilla flavor
Not only do enlyten shakes have substantial amounts of protein (19g per serving), they also only contain less than 1g of sugar…making them safe for diabetics. Atkins is the only other product in the list that can be considered possibly diabetic safe. All the other products contain way too much sugar.
Enlyten’s substantial amount of protein along with their special protein digestive enzymes (allows body to further digest all available protein) is one the leading factors of why enlyten outshines and outperforms all the other “shakes.” With 19g of protein per 8oz serving, enlyten’s protein to serving size ratio is 56.64%, which is almost astronomical compared to SlimFast’s 0.19%, Ensure’s 0.08%, Atkins 23.52%, and Isagenix’s 22.95%.
Enlyten’s unique balance of high protein, low carbs/sugar, and moderate fat make it the complete meal replacement shake….leaving you full, without the usual “bloated” feeling left from most shakes.
